GIS PLANET 2005 Scientific Board is composed of leading scientists and specialists, representing the many Geographic Information fields of expertise and coming from all over the world. Its broad composition guarantees a high quality level for GIS PLANET 2005, being specifically responsible for the evaluation of paper and poster submissions, acceptance of proposed workshops, selection of keynote presentations and invited workshops, conference final program and thematic emphasis. Members are encouraged to present an evaluation free paper at the GIS PLANET 2005 conference as first or presenting authors. Abstracts and full versions should follow the same guidelines of submissions as defined in the call for papers and comply with 2nd round deadlines. Networking promotional efforts to disseminate information about GIS PLANET 2005 through own specific channels and connections, aiming to create awareness and stimulate submissions, are also activities to be performed by the Scientific Board members.
